Current Appointment: Founder & Managing Partner
Skills and Experience: Obed had an entrepreneurial itch that started way before he founded Protégé Management. With professional hands-on experience of over two decades in HR generalist and advisory services, traversing both national and international geographies. Over the years, Obed has partnered with companies in the search and hiring of exceptional executive leadership and general management roles across the various spheres. Obed has conducted searches for GMD/CEOs, COOs, CMOs, CFOs, PMOs, CRSs, CDOs, and CHROs across various sectors.
Previous Appointment: Prior to his transition to birth Protégé Management, he served meticulously as the Head of Human Capital Management with Etazuma West Africa, and as Head of Human Resource with Louis Valentino Nigeria respectively. He has an excellent cognitive experience at aligning leadership management strategies with business goals. Obed is professional and candid, acting as a trusted partner to clients and candidates, and excels in building strong relationships that create value. Under Obed’s leadership, Protégé Management has transformed to become a professional advisory ambassador to organisations and a brand that resonates within the executive search space.
Education and Qualifications: To his credit, Obed holds a Master of Arts degree in Human Resource Management from Derby Management School, University of Derby, and a Professional Leadership Management Certificate in a Changing Environment from Derby College, East Midlands in the United Kingdom respectively. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. He is an adept experienced user of SAP ERP HCM modules. One of his greatest happiness is working with strategic management teams.
